About Guildlist

Who we are

Guildlist is built and maintained by an independent developer, leen12 on GitHub. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc. Questions, takedown requests or feedback are welcome in our community Discord.

Why it exists

Many server lists are full of dead invites and paid placements that are hard to tell apart from real recommendations. Guildlist ranks communities by observable signals, labels every sponsored placement, and lets owners list for free.

How GuildScore works

GuildScore is the number behind every ranking. It combines:

• Votes cast by members over the last seven days.
• Bump freshness and velocity, so listings kept alive by their owners rise and abandoned ones sink.
• Activity, based on members online, and size, on a logarithmic scale so huge servers do not drown out small ones.
• Reviews from signed-in Discord users.
• Listing quality: icon, banner, tags and a meaningful description.
• Verified ownership, confirmed through Discord.

Paid plans never raise organic GuildScore. Premium only shortens bump cooldowns and unlocks clearly labelled promotion.

How listings are sourced

Listings are submitted by server owners who sign in with Discord and add a permanent invite. The invite is checked against the Discord guild so only real owners can claim a listing. Member and online counts are refreshed from Discord, and any listing can be reported for invalid invites, scams or unsafe content.
